Sharing stories together should be fun, so we've created our bespoke Cootie Catcher or Fortune Teller paper craft game. It's a fun way to uncover life stories and a fun activity for all ages! Perfect for holidays and rainy days.

With questions like "Describe your perfect day" and "What was your favourite childhood game" our game is appropriate for all ages to enjoy and promote conversations.

Simply download our templates, choose one to print yourself onto A4 paper, fold using the simple instructions below and then enjoy playing the game. It's a great way to start a conversation and learn about a friend or relative - and a particularly simple activity for kids and their grandparents to do together.

You can download our beautifully designed templates that include instructions from our Etsy store here. There are 5 templates to choose from, including a B&W version to colour yourself if you wish (or if you don't have access to a colour printer).

When you are playing the game, why not record your answers so that you have a precious voice recording that you can preserve and cherish?

Our questions have been specially designed to be simple but they offer special insights into a person and their character. Recording a voice is simple using a smartphone but contact us if you need more help.

Why no go one step further and create a Snapshot Box? Our beautiful boxes are the perfect way to preserve recordings alongside a cherished photograph. Check them out here!

In the meantime, if you need help making your Cootie Cather, please read on for detailed instructions.

ABOUT US

Hi!  I'm John and I'm based here in Suffolk (UK).  I am passionate about helping people to record, preserve and celebrate their life stories.  Since 2015, I have helped people of all ages to record their personal stories. I believe that our voice is a unique and special part of who we are and therefore recording voices is an important part of preserving life memories.

My company, Chronicle, has been working in the UK since 2015, but our history goes back much further.  We have worked with countless people from all walks of life and of all ages to help preserve their stories and memories (our oldest participant was 101).  We also work with respected organisations such as the Suffolk Archives, local museums, and BT on story based community projects.

The idea for the Chronicle Memory Box arose as I continually explored new ways to allow people to preserve and enjoy their stories in a simple way.

We are based in the UK.
